Review of Gerber 22-01146 Seat Belt Cutter

Hey guys,

I'm a guy on a team that rescues and rehabs marine mammals(won't name the org. here for legal issues).Recently, we had a dolphin that had a lot of fishing line around its flukes and fins.We needed something that would cut through the line and not harm the dolphin when we were in the water.I brought this out of my car and it worked like a dream.Easily slicing through a large portion of the fishing line.The only reason I gave 4/5 is that it will not cut through the wire leaders and weights that were also attached.We used wire cutters for those. Considering it was not made for this type of use, I had to review it.Great job and thanks Gerber for creating such a versatile safety cutter.Its become a permanent part of our rescue kit!
