I bought this flashlight after trailing a small blood trail with a normal flashlight for two hours one night.When I had to use it several days after it arrived, I was impressed that it really did make the blood stand out with a red color and subdued the background colors well.If you believe other online reviews, the three LED colors make this the most effective Gerber product so far, but I have never seen any others in operation.I would definitely recommend it, though some might consider these type of flashlights expensive.The next step up is probably a full CSI kit and I would think that would be much more expensive.Click Here to see more reviews about: Gerber 31-000304 Game Tracker Flashlight
